Omnomnomnom. I can smell korma cooking, and I can smell the batch of mini-Eccles cakes I baked earlier. As certain work colleagues are sticking to a very healthy diet, but still like the thought of cakes, I’ve booked some extra-wee Eccles cakes so they can have a sample. And I’ve just watched Heston Blumental’s Roman Feast, which was really cool. I wasn’t that fond of the idea of his brains custard with fish sauce (garum) but the erupting exploding ejaculating pudding looked really fantastic. And, judging by the responses of the guests, tasted pretty delicious too (I particularly liked the use of space dust for the pudding base, so it exploded in the mouth). The man is a mad genius with food.
