…..me. Well, I’m a fan of cats and anything outdoors related. Hobbies include diving, LRP and crafty stuff. Cats are not compatible with my wish to acquire a flock of chickens (specifically pekin bantams) but logic was never my strong point. I like making things, and make a lot of historical costumes/accessories for my LRP system. I’m a fan of wine, but can only drink it in small quantities, else I talk crap and fall asleep. I make excellent sloe gin (apparently). I like spending time with my friends (this usually involves alcohol) and love going to the gym. I also appreciate spending time on my own, and get cranky if I don’t get this “time alone” often enough.
I work as an independent mental capacity advocate, and am an adult education tutor for horticulture and practical countryside skills (not teaching at the moment). I’m also a occasional volunteer gardener at the Tara Centre, a Buddhist community in Derbyshire.

Sometimes I dress up.....
I’ve lived and worked in a variety of places in the UK and Australia, and enjoy travelling when I get the opportunity. I learnt to dive when I lived in Oz and have spent the last few of my summer hols in Egypt diving the Northern Red Sea. I’d rather look at fish than wrecks, and am a wuss, so won’t even contemplate diving in the UK as I get very cold very quickly.
I keep this blog for family and friends, but if you’re stumbled across it whilst rambling round the internet, then read away. Enjoy your visit.
